    Default Corruption

I've always pondered this, and never thought to ask. When looking at your financials it will say how much your making and how much your spending. At the very bottom is says corruption. Some turns corruption is making me more money than I'm losing, other turns, corruption is costing me more than its making me. What affects this? I assume dread plays a role in this.

There are multiple factors. Traits, law and distance to capital are the main ones, I think. There are also some hardcoded limits. When you have more than 13k at any one point, corruption is programmed to increase. The same happens at 40 or 50k. The increase may just be for the turns where you match or exceed those numbers though, not permanent.

I don't know what they are either, though.

Diplomacy Tributes have a section all of their own, hence the "Tribute" multiplier under finances.

@Bringer Of Storms I would look on the Total War website. A link is under one of the topics I think on the next page or at the bottom of this one.

The "Other" income is usually ransom and sacking.
