    Default Stupid Roman rebels.

Hey Im playing RS and its a great game. The only thing upsets me is the Roman rebels. If you can't raid when playing Rome unlike EB. (Raiding is attacking a settlement and destroying all their buildings for money then simply leave, it rebels and turns into the original faction.) In RS they become a individual faction(Roman Rebels )and will attack you.

The Roman Rebels are not historically accurate since once a city rebels all the rebels want is peacefull life like Spartacus and freedom...and don't want to take Rome. Also in 53 BC the Rebels take over half the empire in the game, representing Pompey the Great.

So who are the Roman rebels??? Peasants wanting freedom or Rich Political opponets? Please make all rebelling settlements Independent Rebels. and make the Roman Rebels occur only in 53 BC and call them instead "Roman Politcal opponets..."

The rebellions itself are meant to be historically accurate, not their motives. In the end you still are to fight them off. I don't think its possible to script a bunch of rebels to appear fight you off and then just disperse in the mountains like Spartacus intended. The first set of rebels represent those cities that defected to Hannibal while he was ravaging italy.

It simply will not happen as you want. The Roman Rebels are a non-playable faction that are there to create more of a challenge amongst other things but a lot of effort went into making them rebels, they simply cannot be removed. Thread closed as it can't be done.
