All day long I've heard shoveling in front of my building and I see someone is constantly cleaning the parking lot and paths from the snow. And I haven't moved a finger. In fact I hardly even bothered to look through the window.

My day was/is awesome, because I was out taking an off-track, orientation run in a forest early today, and since I am going to a family dinner in a few minutes. Despite the run was in a forest covered in snow, it felt really good!

Dude they're ridiculously Fresh.

There are fine lines between being boring and conservative, being trust fund playboy preppy, or giving off a homosexual vibe. The guy in the blue cardigan for example crossed the line into gay. You want to grab people but you don't want to look like you're trying to be pretty. Its shock and awe with pastels and patterned fabrics. Pure heterosexual machismo peacockery.

Everyone knows if you want to get good jobs and hot chicks you need to dress a few zeroes above your pay grade. You can either try to look tough or look rich. Ideally being tough or being rich, but at least imitating it.

Well I just had some delicious St. Marcellin with baguette, olive oil, salt+pepper with a good pint of English ale. I guess my young person's stomach is saying a big "Après nous, le déluge..."

My day was WICKED awesome because I went into work this morning, not looking forward to a 2" stack of orders to pull. Around 11, I got a text from my buddy saying that he wanted to get a band going again. He had our other guitarist from our last band in on it, and his friend who wanted to sing. So, we had two guitarists, a bassist, and a lead vocalist. All we needed now was a drummer. I asked one of my co-workers if he'd be interested in filling the throne, since he's currently without a band. He was so game! I'm psyched to start playing in a band again and putting my pile of riffs and songs to good use!

And, to end it all: When I got home from work, I got a call from my best buddy asking if I wanted to play a few rounds of cards and hit up the bar. We went and played a few hands of forty-fives (great game, btw), and then we hit up the bar and kicked back, sank a few, had a pile of bacon cheesy fries and watched the Celtics game. An awesome ending to an even "awesomer" day...
