    Default Gondor

    Hello,

In one of my campaigns Gondor has lost Minas Tirith and lots of other settlements, but i found that they have a full stack of elite units that was sitting near one of their cities near the coast. I thought it was a bug and AI could not move that stack, so i put it near the front with Mordor using a cheat, but after 5 more turns it did not move at all even though in Minas Tirith there were only a few Mordor units left.

I am wondering if they are simply that passive or is it a bug of some sort? I am bored to see Gondor crushed in every campaign and make no attempt to win.

Well I have seen Gondor do very well before, usually seems to go 50/50 in my games. Don't know about you 'bug' though.

I see Gondor with large stacks all the time but they just seem to be patrols as they walk towards a front and the halt around the line Tarnost/Lossarnach or in Ramas Echor. They could perform way better if they'd actually use these troops.

Are you talking about Imrahil and his stack near Dol Amroth?

It annoys me that he can be sitting there with a full stack while settlements nearby are being captured by Harad.
I moved him to Minas Tirith on one campaign using the cheats and he just ran back.

"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"

Yes thats the same stack, its realy annoying as they could retake most of their provinces with it, but they just sit there doing nothing..

You might want to consider the CAI in this sub-mod, it is seperate from the rest of the mod and may help solve or improve the condition of your problem:
Blood N' Guts v2 - New battlefield blood and dirt textures. ~~~|~~~ PLUS Enhanced Campaign AI v2
    MOS v1.6.2+ Bug fixer 30 Dec 2013
