    Default Show Unit Destination

I'm not sure why, but for me the "Show Unit Destination" is weird.

When I press the hotkey for "Show Unit Destination", let's say Space, it comes up for a split second before disappearing. I have to either spam space nonstop or hold it down, during which it flickers on and off. Is this happening to anyone else?

Are you talking about seeing the units“ destination in a battle?
Because at least I don“t use the spacebar for that.

I don“t know what the button is called, but it has an upwards pointing arrow on it, and there are two of them - it“s the same you hold down when ordering a unit to go to several destinations in a row.

    That's the shift button Silverheart.

@OP You have to hold the space button down to see where they are going.

kwak yes, this happens to me too
ok, if we are already on this topic I have a question:
I really don't know how to explain it but here it goes: I saw a video (of M2TW) a few months ago and that guy was using some kind of trick where he would press a key (I guess) and used the mouse too to rotate the whole's army position without distrubing the army's positioning; I don't know if you understood what I just said, but for example, I line up my spearmen in the first line, then, lets say, I place my 2 heavy infantry units behind them and my archers in front of the spearmen, when I select the whole army and I right click on the field battle, sometimes the positions of the units get messed up (I can see this because I press the space bar and it shows how will they position themselves), for example my infantry will be positioned in the same line as the spearmen and my archers will randomly go from a thin line formation into a box formation
    I hope I made myself clear ...

If you hold down Alt when you click, your troops will remain in formation. Is that what you mean?

You can rotate units using '.' and ',' keys. Also, if you select multiple units, SOMETIMES you can use the mouse drag to change their facing and they will maintain formation. This generally works after deployment, when you just start the game. I'm not sure how to keep group formations like that, but you can cancel them using shift+1 (that's 'single line', any other group formation command works, too). Once you do that, the units will forget about their relative position and mouse drag will just form a single line.

<Ctrl+click> to alter a unit's facing. <Shift> shows where a unit is going (or what unit it is shooting at) with a little red symbol like exclamation mark plus allows you to select a series of destinations for units. Space bar shows where a formation will be at the end of its move in yellow.

Also, grouping the units before you move them will keep them in position.

I know the < and > keys will swivel your army around without disturbing the formation.
