Default How to deal with corruption??

I've been playing this mod for some time and it's a great mod, but I get a problem.....economic one. No matter which faction I played, my economy was always ruined by corruption which used to consume about 2000~4000 bucks.... it's really troublesome. Can anybody give me some advises??

Move your capital to a more central location -- this costs 5000 coins, but might end up saving you a fortune.
Building city halls can also reduce it. They're the buildings which produce diplomats.
Besides that, "good" generals are rumoured to also reduce corruptions.

It exists as a way of reducing the player's expansion. The larger your empire is, the more costly it will be, meaning you have to more carefully manage your finances; however, since you start with a large number of settlements, this commonly works against the player very early on

    Of course mate!

    1. Make sure your capital is in the center of your empire. Moving it costs 5000 gold, but for some factions that cost is easily made up for in just a few turns.

Good examples would be moving Gondor's capital to Tarnost (+800/turn) or High Elves' capital to Mithlond. (+1500/turn) <-- Numbers are taken from turn 1.

    2. Construct buildings that increase law, (Barracks and Town Halls.)

    3. Train your governors to get +law-traits. Two easy ones to obtain is the Just-trait, (simply have a governor present when Town Halls are finished), and the GoodAdministrator-trait. (Have taxes on very high when finishing construction and troop recruitment) Note: I recommend that you have taxes at low most of the time and only switch over to very high taxes when a building is being completed the next round.

Sorry but I have to post this, when I saw "How to deal with corruption??" this came to mind
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Alright, to stay on topic moving you capital to the 'middle' of your kingdom will help some. It costs 5000 like in SS. (as stated above )
Town Halls are good for corruption and in cities the barracks will help I believe. (cities only!)
    Culture buildings boost happiness...
Taverns also boost happiness... But you're not having trouble with happiness though are you? Just corruption? This might make it worse then

About the low tax thing Santana86 said, as Gondor I believe in order to survive you must use high and very high taxes unless it's changed since 2.1 (forgive me, I have not even played 3.1 yet, just modded it )

Depending on who you play as and how much you expand, moving your capital can help A LOT. My suggestion is save the game, then move your capital around and see how much you save on the finance screen. Even if you save a measly 250 a turn, that would pay for itself in only 20 turns. That's at least as good an investment as many of the financial buildings you can construct.
