    Default Captains

Something I've always wondered. Does assassinating captains do anything at all? Besides the obvious, training for your assassin. If a unit has 100 spearmen, and you assassinate the captain over and over could you slowly bring them down to nothing? Lol, not that I'd want to do that, but I just feel like there is some other reason to assassinate the captains other than training.

I don't think it has any effect on that

Yes, i think every successful assassination also cancels devastation for that turn too.

No, the captain is added when a battle happens, the unit goes from say 150 soldiers to 151, assassinating a captain will not bring the unit size down.

If you assasinate the leader and attack his stack that turn doesn't it reduce the morale of the army? It seemed to make a difference to me.

I guess captains gain command points too, don't they? Or they evolve somehow, so when they are high enough they can be adopted. I'm not sure though.

To get "Man of the Hour" you must have fewer generals than you have settlements. I used to think you also had to have odds of about 1:1 or worse but I'm not so sure now, maybe all you need is a Clear Victory or better.
