    Hello, all of you!
Sorry for all this time without updates, but I had no (and have no) much time to work on CeA.
This doesn't mean that the mod is dead obviously: even if very slowly, the work is going on. I have to do, for example, some changes to the geo-political situation in northern Italy: the faction "Commune of Milan" will become "Lordship of Milan" with Della Torre dinasty and its dominions will include Lodi, Bergamo, Brescia and Vercelli, Visconti family will be out of the map but it will remain as a spawning faction.

Probably soon you could be able to see other Goofy's excellent works on menu and splash screen, stay tuned!

Here's a preview of the menu and splash I've been working on during the last months! I'm afraid they might not be as good as possible since my eternal source of inspiration - cedric37 - has been absent for some time, and that is one reason why this took so long but I still wish you'll like them!

Thanks go to Mariusz Kozik for the awesome background painting!

    Wish you enjoyed them folks!

The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected. - G.K. CHESTERTON

Thanks for all the praise dudes! I'm not sure if all of you realised that the creator of this mod is Zames, not me - I'm just helping him around - so if you didn't already, please +rep him as well and tell him how awesome all of his hard work is!

Thanks for all the attention and your kind words.

    Thanks Poly, it's highly appreciated!

It is now quite uncertain and to be decided whether I'll continue working with Zames but it is very much possible.

This mods looks great! I just noticed I have seen it before and repped the OP, but never posted here so I thought it would be time to change that The idea of a medieval Italy mod is very auspicious and ambitious.
Unfortunately I'm no modder myself, but if you need any historical help for the HRE, Venice or Austria I would be glad to help. For the HRE and Austria I can also offer to translate names and stuff into German, if it is needed. Otherwise you seem to make a good progress anyway, keep it up and good luck!
"Pompeius, after having finished the war against Mithridates, when he went to call at the house of Poseidonios, the famous teacher of philosophy, forbade the lictor to knock at the door, as was the usual custom, and he, to whom both the eastern and the western world had yielded submission, ordered the fasces to be lowered before the door of science."

Well, I think I'll nedd help for Austria and HRE, expecially about unit rosters at the moment (even if the work is still cause of my lack of time, I want to continue working on units before making something else).

Okay, cool, just send me a PM when you need advice or help and I'll try my best I've to admit while I have a certain knowledge about it medieval Germany isn't my best topic, but I have access to a German uni library anyway

Now a few questions on the mod :

    1. Shouldn't Genoa be named Republic instead of Commune? Or was there a major change in the constitution of the state so it was only named Republic later on?

    2. How is the historical allegiance of factions to the both sides (Holy Roman Emperor and Pope) presented in the game? Do you use something like the cultures in the Britannia campaig or the religions in the Crusader campaign?
And will there be predefined diplomatic stances? Like ''at war'' or ''allied''- some modders said it's not possible but the vanilla game had it
