This is very interesting seeing how it's against the constitution to arrest a Senator while the house is in session.

'The Paul staffer said TSA agents would not let Paul walk back through the body scanner and were demanding, according to the staffer, a full body pat-down.'
Perverts.
How long is the TSA going to be allowed to carry on as they are tis ridiculous.

Obviously, Rand is trying to challenge the pat downs legally since he made no headway in congress.
He must of had something that set off the alarm and he refused a pat down which requires the TSA to detain the suspect. What would you have TSA do when someone sets off the alarm and refuses a pat down. I dont know why TSA would refuse to let anyone walk through the Machine again. Usually people can go back through it, I know I have. Other times your sent to one of those new Machines that scans your body with air.
Sarcasm right Derbiean, I couldnt tell.
No Mathias my post is sincere.

Whats ridiculous then... if someone sets off the alarm and refuses a pat down TSA should just let them go onto the plane.
I mean the whole TSA thing not just that specific incident.

Not sure what you mean then? Cause while I think pat downs can be taken too far they are not ridiculous, especially when someone refuses one but still sets off an alarm and I have never known TSA to refuse a second walk through.
Rand is just taking this too far like how some folks will complain about police check points.
The TSA and some of the things they do is ridiculous in my opinion, like confiscating cupcakes, leaving notes in people's suitcases etc.

Why do you need to bring a cupcake on a plane?
Presumably to eat or maybe it was a exploding cupcake![]()

His own fault for sure. He has to follow the same rules as everybody else.
Eat the cupcake before you go through the gates.

I love how this has turned into a debate about cupcakes. Carry on.![]()
Is it a coincidence that I, as a young male traveling by myself, am searched 90% of the time when trying to enter the secure area of an airport, even when I do not set off the alarm?
And no, I do not wear a turban. /sarcasm![]()
While I like Rand, my first thought when I read the headline is that he was grandstanding. So is my second thought.
"When I die, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like Fidel Castro, not screaming in terror, like his victims."
My shameful truth.
