This is for pre-set generals, so Kobayakawa and Kuroda only have one general to start with. I basically need another historically founded general name for the Chosokabe, Otani, Fukushima and Asano.

Well, I just did some research.
It seems that Fukushima Masanori had a younger brother Masayori who was a daimyo on his own but I was unable to find info on his age or involvement in the Sekigahara campaign.
    http://www.samurai-archives.com/masamori.html

Otani Yoshitsugu had a son Yoshikatsu who fought at Sekigahara.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%8Ctani_Yoshitsugu (there's names of the other Otani retainer who fought under Yoshitsugu)

Asano Nagaarika, son of Nagamasa fought at Sekigahara and Osaka.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asano_Nagaakira

And for Kato Kyomasa he had three main retainer who fought in his Hatamoto
Iida Kakubei, Morimoto Gendayu, Shorabayashi Shinjun.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

And Erwin, Tachibana Muneshige and Nabeshima Naoshige were daimyo on their own and as much as I would love to see them, I don't think they should be linked to any other clans.

    ---

According to the samurai-wiki Morichika had three son.
    http://wiki.samurai-archives.com/ind...kabe_Morichika
I don't know what was their role at Sekigahara but they were beheaded after the Osaka campaign, implying they fought there.

    Awesome set, yet again .

I quite like the third one with the symmetrical leaves maedate. Looks to be made for a Tokugawa member. The one below kind of reminds me of POTC's kraken . The third last satoba kabuto seems to have been used by CA as a maedate. Awesome!

Yeah, it looks like the third one was either made for a Tokugawa or a Matsudaira. It's crazy how one third of the surviving Edo armours were owned by the Matsudaira, I don't know precisely how many different branches the family had but it seems that they were present at every corner of Japan by the end of the Tokugawa shogunate.
Sotoba is a great looking symbol. I was fairly disapointed to not see it in the game, after all it was one of the Ikko-Ikki banners.

I actually created an Ikko-Ikki banner with a satoba on it. It was terrible that they used the Nanbu mon .

Well, incase you're intrested, the main weapon of the samurai in the 16th century was the spear or yari. They usually wielded a shorter yari than the ashigaru (mainly because they would often engage other samurai in "honourable" duels, or use them on horseback against ashigaru equipped with bows or arquebus), and they came in many shapes. For example, the omi yari, which had a very large blade, almost like a straight sword on a wooden pole. Then there was the su yari, which you could say was the "standard" yari of the day, it looks like the yari the yari samurai have. Then there's the Jumonji yari, which is the yari the yari ashigaru wield, which is a bit inaccurate as that was a type of yari usually reserved for the wealthier samurai. These are just a few examples.

In the 12th and 13th century the main weapon of the samurai had been the bow, usually as a mounted archer. In the sengoku Jidai however they became more like lancers and dismounted spearmen (think dragoons, but with spears). The katana was at best a side-arm which you would draw once your spear and the extra spears carried by your attendants would be broken.
To back my statements up you'd only have to look up "the seven spears of shizugatake", samurai like Honda Tadaktatsu and his spear "tonbogiri" (dragonfly cutter), Kato Kiyomasa who famously wielded his one-pronged yari, Watanabe Moritsune or "spear-hanzo", Maeda Keiji and Maeda Toshiie who were both famous for their prowess with the spear.

There's only one more general slot, following Yoshihiro. If you have no objections, I figured I would use Hisayasu.

    I'm interested in this.

If the maedate is from a daimyo, better, if that daimyo is at the same time as the Seki campaign, all the more better.

(Its clickable by the way....An S2 overhaul mod.)

Seriously. Click it. Its the only overhaul mod that's overhauling enough to bring out NEW clans

According to the source, it's from early Edo-Momoyama period. 1580-1620. But no info on the owner.

CA have really outdone themselves with the amount of historically based unit parts, especially when most players would not know them to be any more than custom designs inspired by the period .

Is the Kenshin kabuto in the game historical? He actually wore one with an angryface on it?

So he actually wore something like that? Knowing him shouldn't it have been an angry face of Bishamonten or something?
