    The game crashes when I go to build the Noh Theatre. I've tried for 4 turns now but still it crashes. Here's the save game if anyone can get past it. It's a short campaign so I've already lost but I just wanted to try out the thugs. It's the .6 preview, I haven't got the portrait patch yet.

    The only thing I can see that's strange is that I have 3 statues close to each other. I'm not sure if that could be causing it.

    Looks like I referenced the wrong campaign map model. Since you understand how to use PFM, go to "SEK_Theatre_building_levels", go to the second last column and change all entries to "campaign_sho_city_castle_construction_lvl1" (the majority of them should already have this entry).

    I got the crash from the save you sent as you detailed, did that change, went back in and could select that building without that crash.

    It worked, thanks.

    Edit: now it crashes on the next level. I changed them all to campaign_sho_city_castle_construction_lvl1.

    Found a bug which freezes your game.

    Can be reproduced:

    Start a new campaign.

    Play as Toyotomi.

    Reveal Settsu.

    Mouse over the "Noh Theatre" upgrade in your fortress for a few seconds, so that the description would pop up -> game is now frozen.

    I'll revise the chain to see if there's any obscurities. Thanks for reporting .

    Found the problem! Bad junction with the Oni Thugs. I'll fix that up.

    Jolly good ^^ I also had a freeze/crash with the same fortress when I ordered a Ninja inside the fortress to assassinate a monk right next to it(you may or may not know that your agent doesn't leave the fortress then, they just do it from inside). However, the Ninja was executed and it sounded like he was playing his death animation inside the fortress, but that froze everything.

    I have no reason to believe that is connected to your mod at all, I think it is an issue with the game itself.

    One thing that you seem to have overlooked: You reduced the range for archers, but didn't touch their special ability tables. This means that as soon as a unit uses flaming arrows or whistling arrows, their range increases to vanilla values for the duration of the effect :p Simply changing the range for Fire arrows and such(with variants where needed) in the pack file should fix it.

    Nice catch ! I now pick up on fire arrow abilities having its own projectile ID .

    Heh, the AI are some cheeky bastards. I've been using the extended fire arrow range on them as a way to get an extra volley or so in, but they have repaid me in kind :p

    Encountered another oddity. I took over the north eastern most province in Kyushu, the one connecting it to the main island, which was being held by Shinto Rebels. There was a damaged archery range there, which I repaired. However, it unlocks no units and can not be upgraded :p It has a wierd icon on it, too. Bit like what you get when you capture a town with a religious building that isn't of your religion, but this one looks more like the Mori mon or something...

    Also, is it intentional that Toyotomi forces can not recruit every kind of monk unit? Warrior Nuns(I believe it was them) seem to be unavailable, they have the "wrong religion" mark on them in the building list, and do not show up in the recruitment tab.

    edit: Actually, it seems like the Taira mon.

    It also happens on the Monk hero, and seems Tokugawa and Toyotomi forces are equally affected ^^

    - Why does no-dachi take 1 turn but katana takes two turns?

    You can find the latest PFM here. Open the v0.6 pack file with it, and on the left and side select "SEK_Theatre_building_levels". Then in the table that appears on the right go to the second last column and change all entries to "campaign_sho_city_castle_construction_lvl1".

    Then press save and reload S2. Hope this helps

    -You must still have that script you were using earlier. As I noted before, it is impossible for my scripting.lua to start any starting mission other than that of the Naoe.

    It could be because of the Oni Thugs. If this is the case, It will be fixed in the upcoming version.

    To explore the problem a bit more, are you holding the mouse over the Noh Theatre building for a short time before the game crashes? That's how we got the Oni Thugs problem.

    Hey i'm having some troubles, i'm playing an italian version of S2 and with this mod the names of the playable clans remain the vanilla's , also some names of buildings and units do not appear, any ideas?

    Yeah, its the Oni Thugs. If it isn't gamebreaking, just avoid it for now. It will be fixed in the next version.

    This is due to me only using english localisation files. Any other language is not supported at the moment. I do have an intent to make a compatibility pack, but development of the campaign is a priority .
