    Default Story Related Bugs

    1) When player finds a ring and carries it around the ring-bearer does NOT recieve any corruption traits nor does he lose the Ring/Golum after it is destroyed. This seems to be caused by the fact that the ring-bearer is not a commander of an army but travels along other generals of one of which assumes command. The Ring and Golum is gone properly when he spends one turn alone and is clicked upon by player afterwards.

    Fix: Since Golum appears as ancillary regardless of the ring-bearer being commander or not there seems to be a problem in the trigger for Ring corruption levels. The loss of Ring/Golum/Corruption (the latter possibly) is also a bit weird imho and the position inside a stack shouldn't prevent the script from firing? But maybe there is a limitation.


    2) Orcs Survival event fires twice. When you deprive Mordor of its settlements it goes Horde and you recieve this event which however - incorrectly - states that there are orcs left in Mordor. They are in fact spawned wherever (no idea, just not in Mordor). The same event however happens when you destroy the Ring afterwards but then the whole faction gets destroyed and not even hording orcs can be spawned anywhere so that one is most definitely a bug and should not fire at all.

    Fix: Revamp the conditions for this event so it fires only when Mordor loses all settlements and goes horde and NOT when it is actually destroyed with the Ring's destruction. Also correct the text which incorrectly states there are orcs left in Mordor when there are not any.


    3) Sauron is not eliminated from the game and can call invasions even when dead. Ok, you kill Sauron for good by destroying of the ring. You even got few vids about it but some turns later... Sauron calls an invasion again. Bummer.

    Fix: Unless this is conditional with 1) I suggest removing Papal States (= Sauron) from the game when the Ring is destroyed. Since nothing really happens when Ring disappears by making the ring-bearer solitaire general I suspect no solution is actually present (I don't want to dig into the CS looking for it). So again, with Mordor eliminate also Dark Lord faction or else player will see invasions called by the dead guy...


    4) The Victory vid of Gondor and possibly of other factions too has double audio slightly desynced when achieved along with the destruction of the Ring. This is most likely caused by the fact that several video events occur at that turn and that Victory vid is skipped prematurely by the others and when revived again it plays twice (once for the original victory event which got paused, second for when you revive the event from the box).

    Fix: Employ campaign delay for some of the events or push them to next turn. Some of them are not viewable without continuing the won campaign anyway...
