NTW Lags no matter what settings

Hello guys.

My pc - i7 3200 @4.2 ghz, 8gb ram, Radeon 6970 cayman 2gbvram

This should be more then sufficient for NTW, Shogun 2 maxed out doesn't lag, but NTW lags no matter what setting i put. Tried everything maxed, everything on min , various other combos , doesn't help.

It simpy lags, and lags are very unique in a way. For example on battle map, i move around without any sign of FPS loss, but when i look at my troops they stutter/lag , but camera moves around very smoothly. All of us know if something lags for good, camera lags as well, you can barely rotate e.t.c On campaign map, camera lags as-well, when i move it camera as if " dashes " , moves a bit , pause, moves a bit , pause.

Has anyone experienced that? Never had anything like that with ETW and Shogun 2.

Do you have the profiles (CAPS) from www.amd.com installed? May help.

Yes, all the drivers are up to date.

I just uninstalled

so sick of all the bugs and the lags, I'm going to post bad reviews EVERYWHERE I can

Ah the loooooooooonnnngggg way solution i guess will be

"1. uninstalled all ATI related software, including drivers
2. used driversweeper to remove traces of ATI software
3. performed a safe-mode reboot
4. used cCleaner, anlysed and fixed/deleted all registry irregularities.
5. performed a SECOND registry anlysis, and found some left-overs, fixed/deleted all irregularities
6. rebooted normally
7. installed 11.1a drivers
8. disabled (as I normally do) the ATI HD sound device in my device manager"

I have Nvidia GTS 450 1 GB, and my game stutter with latest beta driver 290.53, but then i uninstall this driver and put old drivers 285.62 and all runs good.

Try use old drivers.
