    Default When the game ends

Dear all I am a quite new user and I would like to ask you when this game ends.
I am playing the long campaign and so far I have conquered all the european and balkan zone but not jerusalem. My guess is that once I capture that city too the game will stop. IS not that right?

What will happend if I leave jerusalem at the end and conquer all the rest cities first? Will the game stop when it reaches the age (1500?) that only support?

I've been there as well, you need like 45 territories + Jerusalem for most catholic fractions, once as England i conquered 50 settlements but not Jerusalem, so i "lost" (personally I do not see it as a lost). The game will end when the rounds are out (year 1530) but it'll end before that if you achieve your victory conditions before that. But regardless if you lose or win or if you run out of turns, you can always continue the game infinitilately (sp?). The number of turns is just the timeframe in which you need to accomplish your objectives.

You can choose to keep playing until the entire map is yours. However, if you fail to meet your victory conditions within the allotted timeframe, you will be told you have lost.

Regardless of how the game ends, you can always choose to keep playing, and continue.
Even if you win, some other faction wins or you run out of time, there is really no limit to how long you can keep the game going - there have been players who kept going all the way until they the 21st century and all.

The time limit is basically just the point where the game stops moving forward (no new events and such) and the victory conditions are just the necessary conditions before your faction has truly become an unstoppable imperial superpower.

No matter if you win or lose, you will be able to play until the entire map is yours.

Depeding of the faction you're playing with you don't need Jerusalem to win. Just check your "Victory Conditions", on the faction scroll.

or unless you lose by having faction get completely wiped out. But that's obvious.

What happens if you conquer every single province on the map? Is there another message of some kind like.. "Ultimate Victory" or something, or is the only 'victory' message delivered when you meet the requirments (ie. 45 regions plus selected cities / kill certain faction, etc)

I played this game a long time, but I never bothered to actually continue playing once my victory conditions were met.

Yes. If you conquer the entire map, there's a new victory message.

In Vanilla, it gives you a message saying something like how Alexander and Caesar are now petty compared to you, and that you're the greatest conqueror ever, or something like that.

In Kingdoms Teutonic Campaign, conquering the entire map gives you a message that you're now the undisputed master of the Baltic, and the Pope now fears you.

In Kingdoms Americas, there's a another victory message for conquering the entire map as Spain. I wonder if the same holds true for the natives, since the natives technically can't conquer the entire map without cheating (lack of boats to get to Cuba).

Hm, interesting, on e should do that, I did that only in the Britannica campaign so far, it might be the same as otherwise since my last settlement to conquer was London, which was in my "normal" victory conditions. But it said that i truly was the one and only master of the British Isles and that I could say that I owned lands not even Caesar was able to completely conquer. Anyone done this in the Crusades campaign, taken the whole map?

I'm on my way to do this. The path from now on is clear and easy.

Here's a screenshot with the whole-map victory message from the Teutonic Campaign.
