Being a civitate is more than just coming to the site every day and posting a few things here and there. It is about posting well, contributing intelligent opinions and acting respectively to others. Part of being a civitate is keeping the peace between members. In my thread "Favourite war movie" there were a few members who were just on the borderline of flaming and racism, ignoring this is not what a civitate would do. I told them that these disrespectful comments stop and that the thread should get back on topic and it did. A civitate should also help other members upon request. At one time "Fierychariot" send me a PM asking me about abbreviations that people had been using such as RTW, WRE and BI for example. I composed a list for him of all the abbreviations I could think of and sent it to him. Another duty of not just civitates but all members is knowing when to close a post and not leave it open to spaming. My threads "A demo perhaps?", "Roman bankruptcy", "What just happened" and "Happy Festivus", I requested that these threads be closed because either the question ahd been answered or I accidentally made a duplicate thread. I have seen posts and comments that have accused that the civitate quality has gone down from the past. If I am to become a civitate I will try my best to uphold the worthy title of "civitate" and prove these comments wrong I am part (also) of the Knights and Kings:Total war Medieval mod and I am the historian.

For these reasons I believe that I am a mature member worthy of civitateship.

Looks interesting and concious of civitates privileges.

In the future, I believe we should not add new votes after a round of voting has started, this will not give them the required attention. They should in that case be held over until the next round.

Quit with the round stuff. Lets not complicate things and there is no reason why someone has to wait for these things. From request to pass it shouldnt take more than 1-4 days.

    Voted yes by the way.

Edit: I finally decided to read the rules and I hate the discussion idea. Why is it neccisary? Post the civi, discuss while voting, then pass or fail them. Its not that difficult of a consept. Additionally, supporting paragraphs should not be neccisary.

Yes. I like his style and he has made good contributions in both TW and CC areas. There is also a good mix of posting - one liners and more developed ideas.

I'm with Asterix on this one a good bloke who deserves the title... Even many of his one-liners are excellent in quality.

The only bad thing i noticed about him is that a few of his threads were closed after a few posts.. though he admits he was aware of this and didnt mean it..

Other than that i agree with everyone else, good poster, pretty active, knows exactly what the rank represents - seems to know what he's talking about most of the time too!

He deserves and wants the rank, i vote yes

Wow I am going to be the only voice of dissension so in this case my opinion doesn't matter I guess since the die is cast against me.

Looking through his posts I didn't find a paragraph or constructed arguement. I am not one to require huge posts but the sign of that capability is reassuring.

Can someone tell me if I just missed them? I do not get any bad vibes from the name just no good ones either.
