"U.S. warships and military forces have been in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East region for many years and their decision in relation to the dispatch of a new warship is not a new issue and it should be interpreted as part of their permanent presence," Revolutionary Guard Deputy Commander Hossein Salami told the official IRNA news agency.

Iran's clearly reconsidered it's capability after it's exercises and come to the conclusion... will hit the fan if they tried anything.

Anyways, that they didn't go head to head with the world's biggest superpower with the greatest wealth and most powerful army in the world doesn't mean they have small balls. It means they don't have a tiny brain.

I would consider countries like the UK and Germany. They're still a big part of the global stage, just not as big as countries like the US, China, and Russia.

When you make a threat, and then continue to not make good on that threat when someone stands up to you, that's a good show of a lack of male private parts. Tiny brain is still debatable.

Not to be too nitpicky, but all of those nations simply cannot hold a candle to the US in force projection or economic weight. Power in Geopolitics is entirely relative, and relative to the US neither the UK nor Germany are great powers.

Funny how the army chief made the first statement and now a Republican Guard commander tries to ease the waves.

I wonder if the army chief gets some kicking. I read he made himself unpopular by demanding the conventional Iranian military get some credit for the accomplishments in the Iran Iraq war and the Republican Guard didn't like that suggestion either.
One really wonders who is doing what for what purpose.
