Playing as the Sylvan Elves and just wondering how to get new units?

I just got the message saying my militairy is at full strength and that now all I have to do is build the correct buildings to recruit my best trooops

. However I checked Tharanduirs Halls and my other large cities and no new barracks have appeared? Do I have to destroy the old town watches/barracks/archerys so that I can build the new ones or will the buildings appear in time?

Please help I'm not sure what I need to do, I just can't wait to start owning the orcs and Mordor with those shiny golden armored sindar archers!!

can you recruit heavy silvan archers or heavy spearmen?, those are the top tier units for silvan elves

The next tier barracks/ranges/stables appear after you build more advanced castles/walls (which become available after reaching certain population as you probably know).

You have to wait for the Barracks event to happen which should be at round 60 and at round 100 you can turn it off by using the Baron Submod

If you focus on economy first, you won't have your heavy units before turn 150.
Your first units are already very good, and you can use them for long.
If you don't focus on economy and you rush on your heavy units, you won't be able to pay their upkeep..

In the silvan elves campaing first unit are enought to defend your settlement and even win other because there all good.
But when you recruit heavy unit you you have to manage not going bankrupt, I don't really used since the light ones are enough good
