mordor economy...
Hello,
I am playing 3.0 with Mordor and i have a huge problem with economy....
At the very first, i made like 2 half stack armies and captured cair andros, w. osgiliath, henneth anun and the two rebel settlements that are south of e. osgililath
problem is.. i have 30k in debt... and it keeps growing
i just dont know why, i dont have too many troops.. i keeo losing man in constant battles and i cant replenish them. Worse of all, i keep killing those damn gondorians armies and they just come back.
Just know, an gondor army of 1200 men tried to assault w. osgiliath... and i defend it with only 1300 (one gondor soldier equals like 5 orcs...). For a miracle, i won, but i lost all of my men and the two generals.
And even so, I KEEP LOOSING MONEY!
Well i though "that is... i killed them all.. they cannot send more men against me..."
Next turn, 1300 mens assaulted cair andros.... then i cried.
For short, i think that is needed to review the economy and growth system for all factions, is not fun to wait like 100 turns to create a decent army to invade all my enemies...
If you have any suggestion, i am open ears (or eyes...)
Regards.

Re: mordor economy...
I play with the epic campaign submod which, amongst many other things, increases the kings purse and gives you more money. I've never had debt problems after that

Re: mordor economy...
The one thing that solved my economy issues was Minas Tirith. I found turtling at the beginning of the game to be bad. I also didn't advance in Mirkwood till I had a sufficient force protecting my advance into Gondor (keep enough of an army in Minas Tirith to protect from Rohan attacks while pushing Gondor back).
