It removes walls ,accept capitals, from cities and makes villages around them and it is very realistic and naval mod adds a lot more realistic naval warfare and invasions they are perfect mods if you havent tried them just try and you will see.And Terrae Expugnandae will become the ultimate.

Don't like the sound of the metropolis mod, i like having al cities being able to build walls, i may look into improving city development through sea trade, though it already is one of the big earners, and naval combat works fine in TE.

I know it sounds odd at first time but in fact A lot of cities at that age (including the great Rome)have no walls. If you have a chance just try them please i am very sure that a good modder like you ,will see the great affect of gameplay these mods create. Thanks for your attention.

I think the walls in rtw are quite not historic and the AI failures makes sieges unbearable .Of course there were walls but only important cities (especially border cities)have them.If you played metropolis&naval mod just once u want them in every mod because they make the game flow like water. And mine was just an opinion and thanks lusted he took care of it ;no problem i still love his work. And i dont need some bright ideas of some gunlover types.

its funny, i just read about the metroplisi mod earlier today and was gonna post this same thing.
i think its a great idea to add a whole new strategy to defense into this game, which for alot of us that have played tons of campaigns, is getting a little repetative.

anywasys, hopefully somebody will make the metropolis mod for this mod just like they did for RTR.

Well I suggest that if you want the metropolis mod then implement it yourself. I know you would like Lusted to do this for his mod, but it is his choice and he says no.

Ah, but remember im using Darths Formatiions, which improves the tactics the ai uses during sieges as well, so having walls is not as bad as it seems.

It is a whole new way of playing, I like it a lot.
With the metro mod if your town is close to an enemy you have to garrison it for fear of i being captured rather than just building a wall and sticking anything in it, it really makes the actual sieges fun too, now that they are not everywhere.
Lots of towns and cities still get walls, though some can develop huge stone ones while other have stockades.

Plus the whole new farms and mines system in it is great (with a little tweaking of build times).

Its not going to be included in 5.0. Thats final. I like having all settlements being able to build walls, it makes things a lot tougher, and well, i would say more about how im improving things in 5.0 but that comes into the secret project.

Actually it will most likely be a bit longer than that, Lusted said this "Secret Project" will push back the estimated release date.

I think its important to have walls in the game, if you dont have walls you cant have siege warfare in the game, i always find that aspect very interesting. So that mod doesn't sound like such a great idea, well to me any way..
