Default How to Make Rulers Die More realistically:

Seriously this as a history buff completely bugs the crap outta me, whenever i play as the Byzantine Empire in KCGM, i like using Manuel but err, He died in 1182 ppl!! Ive had him live to be like 78 before, for no apparent reason he just did, and i was fearing that Alexios would die before him, so it was i'd say like somewhere in the 1240's when he died, and Im like WTF!, so how do i make rulers die(without sending them into an impossible battle) i want Manuel to die before the year 1200 please. Also i know in Third Age that theres been a mod created to allow a selectable faction heir thru and ancillary trait, so how can i do that for KCGM?
