Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
Very stange version of "later today".
"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"
Ahem
Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
This save file is for Westeros at War
oh great, is it bad enough we have to wait a week for him to take his turn?

Martin, haven't I put you in this hotseat as 3 different factions? Stop the whining if you want to remain in it.
Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
Quite funny, do you want me to post everything you said in WaW and compare my post to your dozen?

Whatever you do in a hotseat you admin stays in that hotseat, and the same applies to me. You've already been given a 3rd chance to stay in this hotseat after dying the first 2 times. Please don't make me kick you, that would be so pointless.
Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
Yes it would be pointless and only a fool does something that is pointless I assume your not a fool?

Blah blah blah blerp, etc., cont.; as a great man once said, "I'm too drunk...to taste this chicken."
Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
Let me get this straight, a replacement player comes in for the Stark faction and as first act betrays our 20 turn long alliance without messaging me. What the? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
When you replace someone it is sort of mandatory to ask his allies what the hell is going on in this hotseat. Seriously, this is stupid.![]()
I suppose the admin had something to do with it, this has changed the balance slightly in admin's favor
He is still ridiculously outnumbered and will lose this war, but I want to make a point that replacement players need to ask the allies of their previous player things before they do anything. Attacking like this out of the blue doesn't make any sense.
Stark attacking Tully is weird? Weirder than, say, Renly Baratheon giving all of his land to the Tullys?
If you're suggesting that I sought the new Stark player out or made him attack you, you're incorrect. We've had 3 Stark players so far, I believe. I've tried to get all 3 to help me. LH was going to attack the last Tully before both of them left.
Its the game of freaking thrones. I've had long-term allies backstab me directly after they sent a PM asking to secure our alliance with a marriage. If you left your border undefended and never bothered to send a PM to the new Stark player, can you really be surprised that he seized an opportunity? From what I can see, your three northernmost castles each have exactly one unit in them. Stark hasn't taken a single region in the entire hotseat, apparently a 20 tun alliance with Tully wasn't exactly benefiting him. I don't see what doesn't make sense about attacking undefended castles directly bordering your own territory.
If I were to join a hotseat as a replacement, I would personally ask my allies what had been going on. However, if I joined to find that my alliance resulted in me not getting a single settlement in 20 turns, I could figure it out for myself.

Spoiler for HOTSEATS:
People! Please, stop this stupid war and unite against our only enemy: Florents and Tyrells!
That Renly gave all his territories to me didn't make any sense either, that was all vozd's doing, but that has nothing to do with this.
I'm saying that replacements should pm the allies of their previous player. They don't have to stay allied but they have to at least try to find out what the previous player did and why he did it.
Stark not getting a single settlement was all their own fault. They never attacked anyone, LH did absolutely nothing and Celsius did have plans but he left before he executed them.
I understand the game of thrones, but this is just a bit stupid.
As for the undefended settlements notion, you are wrong.
It is not the point that I may lose one or two settlements to him, my point is that replacement players need to ask the allies of their previous player things before they do anything.
As to vozd, I was attacked here. So I will retaliate. I have no quarrels with you, or arryn atm. Now it is Stark that is going to be my enemy.

Replacement players don't "need" to do anything. Whether or not he wants to talk to or stick with the former player's allies is his decision. In hotseats, "ally" often means "guy who hasn't attacked me yet". As I mentioned earlier, LH was preparing to attack Tully before he left. The fact that Celsius didn't when you had your attention focused on the Stormlands is slightly surprising. At any rate, its not appropriate to insinuate that I as the admin am responsible for Stark's attack. I know it can be jarring to lose a player in the middle of a hotseat and have them replaced by someone who acts differently, but its hard to deny that attacking a neighbor's lightly defended border often looks like a good opportunity.
