This is nothing more than a reactionary move by the Government to yesterday's SOPA protests, of course if SOPA passes, TWC will cease to exist. The Government's Case is Fact though, they are correct in the suit, its just the timing makes it reactionary, i wonder why they can shut down megaupload, but not the piratebay though.

Pirate bay doesn't host any files; it just lists links to various torrents hosted elsewhere.

I also lost quite a few data that I put over there too
need to ask for refund from US gov

What I find curious is that if the Americans pass this retarded law, then what will they do when we Canadians post something? they don't have any jurisdiction over us. And who decides if they should be able to close that website, because the internet is international? You'r countries laws shouldn't be able to affect us unless of course they're your websites

basically all website register ís in US(it doesn't matter that you got it as ".fr" ".uk" or ".com" even ".org")
so they can shutdown whatever they want
