Doing Something Wrong

I'm a noober modder, trying to create a new ancillary member and also modify an existing ancillary member.
I have follows the instructions as per the excellent article from Rome:Heaven

BUT "nothing works" , to quote Catweasel ..........

Is it possible to alter the stats. on existing in game ancillaries ?
Is it possible to introduce new ancillaries into existing campaigns ?

I just can't work out why such a simple mod activity is so difficult !

Note: make absolutely sure that when you're modding the ancillaries any entries for stats are the same for the same ancillary in both files. Also, it would help if you gave step-by-step detail of what you changed and how; otherwise people are just guessing at what you might have messed up.
