We're not really too keen on reavealing a lot about the Thangorodrim faction, because it will be unique in many ways compared to for instance the Noldo Kingdoms.

The Nargothrond preview is essentially done, we only need to finish the last "elite" unit for Nargothrond and that's it

Some characters will simply have to be excluded due to the timescale of the mod, as the First Age spans roughly 500 years in total, this rings more true for the Human factions than it does for the elves, but again - I won't spoil the script of the campaign for this mod yet

Is there any possibility to make Angband units in greater number then the huge unit-scale? So let say 500 orcs instead of 250 so for example the war of wrath will be more realistic considering the greater number of all Morgoths creatures?

If I'm not mistaken mate, there's a limit in the Medieval II engine, and that you can't have more than ~250 units in each? One would also have to take in account mod stability and performance. Medieval II does not have multi-core support, and armies where you have 10 000+ troops on one side alone can give huge lag issues as well as battle-related crashes.

Orcs are 200-250 units per an association with elves 100-150 per association.


So people, one of our team member has health problems, he has broken a finger. Since a few weeks. It still takes a while, so for presentation Nargothrond comes a little later. It could be the presentation for Avary comes early.
I was able to give last unit of Nargothrond for Aruthiel. But they both have different styles. I think it is better for Nargothrond when all units are made ​​in the same style.
