Highest population ever?
I have a question: what's been the biggest population you've seen in one settlement in vanilla? As the Byzantines I had Constantinople up to 120,000 once I had conquered almost the entire map (save for some of the Holy Land and Egypt.) It was still increasing at 1% a turn! Even when the governor died it only decreased by 0.5% for about 4 turns before it was back up to 1% a turn.
Beyond that, I've hit around 70,000 on Naples, Rome and Venice with various campaigns, and 65,000 with Stockholm.

Interesting. I had never really seen above 40,000 before these campaigns, even when conquering everywhere, but there you go! I wonder how big it would have grown if I didn't end the campaign...
