    Default AGELESS FAMILY MEMBERS

    Greetings,

I'm new here, BUT I registered just to post this anomaly.

I've been replaying RTW for the 3rd time when I decided I did NOT want any of my family members to die out. What I would do is right before I press the hourglass to end the turn, I save the game. If on the incoming turn, one of my family members would die, I'd reload the previous save, and more often than not he'd survive the turn. I got a character up to 129 years old, then on the next turn, he reset to 0 years of age! I now have a Faction Leader that's 5 years old....appearence even changed back to his youthful self. Something to consider. Thanks

yep, I heard many times about this bug on these forums (the reseting age); thanks though for telling us about this little trick where you save right before the turn he dies and then when you reload he won't die, I didn't know this
Īnfrānt nu eşti atunci cānd sāngeri,
nici ochii cānd īn lacrimi ţi-s.
    Adevăratele īnfrāngeri,
    sunt renunţările la vis.

Come on Tudor - you did at least have it with a diplomat not appearing again after reloading
a saved game or so. - just you didn't think further that same would work with generals dying
    outt'a the tree.

:edit - btw - 1001' post - greetings from ali baba and his wonderlamp

Read somewhere it reset at age 100. Never happened to me, however.

If they reset, do you have another 40, 50 years before they start trying to die, or can the counter just not go that high, but the game still knows they're 102 or whatever?
