Finally, CA have chosen to say something on price over at the COM.
That sounds about right. Personally, I think CA has been using leaks as a way of sending up trial balloons on price before deciding where to set it. I don't think they were too happy with the feedback they were getting. Their whole announcement system for Alexander is an example of how not to do things.Hi guys

Now I have seen the amount of work that has gone in to this project and this is REALLY great value for money. You won't be disappointed on this you really won't.
Players can expect a good 40-50 hours of new gameplay. And it's not just more of the same. The unit mix, authentic to the period, forces the player out of their established style of play. There's no sheltering behind a line of infantry and waiting for your archers to decimate the enemy - now you've got to go forward and engage them toe-to-toe, just like Alexander did.
So you've got campaign and historical battles then add to that both the standard and new multiplayer options, I reckon that makes the it the best value TW expansion to date.
