well, ug version is for the 15th century, and it's not heavy at all. it's typical milanese full plate armor for 15th century. many of these armors are date based, and you have it by some events that occur and of course, barrack upgrades

Starting date is 1345 and the end date is 1530 so yes the second ones As phoenix said there is a progression in terms of arms and armour as the time passes.
