Default Medieval 2 total war has encountered an unspecified error

I found this problem when it is going in battle scene.

Sorry If I post anything with relate to this link

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=360880 (Before posting how to fix stabillity .....................)

But I am Thai and I don't understand clearly for how to fix this problem. Because I am not good in English and Computer games.

(I search this word in google and try to see how to fix but it is failed)

At last, I try to read in that topic, but I am not sure this is my case (win 7 issues)

    I do this

) Absolutely necessary - run the game as administrator or you'll experience fatal graphics errors, CTDs and other issues (particularly on Win7 and Vista).
    Short How-to on fixing this:
Right-click TATW icon, choose Properties, choose Shortcut tab, click Advanced, tick "Run as administrator", then click "ok".
    1) delete all map.rwm files from data\world\maps\ - do that each time after updating mod files
    2) delete strings.bin files from data\text\ folder - rarely necessary

    The Result is the same

Please tell me how to fix this problem I use window 7, don't use steam or submod.

The problem is that there are many different versions of Kingdoms Total War: Gold, non-Gold, US, EU, Japan, etc. and mixing the different patches seems to cause problems. I own a Steam copy of the game, but I was using a...uh...not entirely legal copy due to the launcher bug that exists in the Steam version. Since you are in Thailand, I would say there's a significant chance that your version might be pirated (even if you paid for it). Using the Steam version instead fixed all the problems I was having with crashes.

I have Windows 7 and am having the same problem every time that I try to fight a custom battle or historical battle. I have disabled the UAC and am running as an administrator. Playing custom battles in MTW II Kingdoms works fine.

Now I turn off UAC but It is the same result when I play custom battle.

So I need to reinstall TATW ?

    This gonna makeme mad
