A young man, only thirty four. He stands tall at 5'8" and has a lean slender body. Like most Romans he has had some martial training, though he is always the first to jest that his stopped after being taught which end of the sword is the end you hold. Lucius Primus is however a keen fan of the games, his favourite being wrestling and especially pankration. He was fortunate enough to be trained in this particular style by a spartan during the three years he spent in Greece as a youth - he made sure to purchase a slave who knew the style to keep in practice himself. His ability to use his feet and fists far superior to that of his ability with a blade.

His family itself is an old and honoured name. Even if it currently lacks in prestige. Three generations ago the family experienced a lack of juno's blessing, only a single girl being born. Resigned to the ending of her families name, she married out of love to a pleb trader. The man was reasonably well off - he dealt in supplying dyes, in particular a deep blue colour that would one day become known as navy blue - and took his brides name out of love for her. Today the family is a small one, just Lucius Primus and a younger sister - his mother died in a failed childbirth, while his father passed two years ago, mere months prior to Lucius Primus being accepted into the senate. His own goals are to serve as a tribune of the people, the censor recording his family as just acceptable in that class. His family history though should ensure he is reasonably acceptable to most within the curia's walls.
