Re: How do you get the third age mod for medieval 2 or medival 2 kingdoms on steam???
The reason you are getting "Game Currently Unavailable" is due to the Launcher. It does NOT shut down properly. When you restart the computer the Launcher will shut down, but if you want to play multiple sessions of M2TW then you need to manually force the Launcher to quit.
You can force it to quit by opening your program monitor and looking at which applications are using CPU... find the Launcher and force it to quit.
As for installing to steam.
It can work fine, but you have to read all the directions very, very carefully and follow then very, very carefully.
It it isn't working then you did something wrong.
I use Steam and it works just fine, but it is difficult to get it working. Pointless for me to go through the steps as there are multiple threads and instructions on how to do it....
The key is that if it doesn't work then YOU did something wrong. Start over.
Good luck.

It takes about 10 seconds to find the instructions for installing with Steam.
