Thank you for your offer of civitateship. I will do my best in abiding by this higher standard of acceptable behavior. As a Civitate I will offer advice in any field I can and be helpful to all the wonderful people of the TWC . I will also contribute seriously into the areas I was not so much into before; such as the political mudpit, picture of the week, babes thread and others. I will spread the word of all the great work that our modders make, and help improve their work by giving feedback and suggestions where they need (& want) them. I'm glad to be able to join rank of civitate and will be able to contribute to this great site, especially with the coming of another expansion, and MTW2.

Decimus Equitius appears very keen to help out in the modding forums, while at the same time appears to post to a similarly high quality in the common community forums such as the arts, science and ethics forums. I couldnt really find any posts which would reflect negatively for the vote..

At only roughly one post per day and only three threads ever started, perhaps he is not the most active member ever, but he does appear to contribute plenty to discussions and provide advice when requested. At the moment i would likely abstain were it not for the fact that he appears primarily active in the modding forums - and from what ive heard there is a general feeling that patricians do not patronise enough from this area of the forum? Perhaps this is reason enough to promote him where there appears no reason not to on other grounds..


I'll admit i'm not too sure on this one, i'll wait to hear what people with more experience in this procedure have to say before deciding i think.. and also hearing the story in Shadows own words would probably help

I'm going to wait on Shadows but, given Spiff's glowing report and some review of the man's posts, I'm positive. But not voting yet.

Have posted a poll to discuss the issue, technically our first votes could start now the 27th of May and still follow the rules. No one however will stop you from collectivelly (Sel) change the rules.

Well i have now also read through his posts.I see him as good spirited candidate for a civ, but i see him more as an moderately active member then huge contributor.I believe he has the potential but i think that he hasnt contributed enough yet.Call me harsh,but my line in these votes will be: Yes if im sure and no when im unsure.If he wont pass this time i believe he will make sure that he passes the next vote.The reasoning behind my harsh take is that i want absolutely end the moaning about Civitates quality.If we have a candidate that is pretty good and we are not quite sure what to do with him.In my mind we shouldnt pass that kind of candidates.

I understand and respect your point of wiew. Basicly im saying my goal will be that there wouldnt be any "maybe´s" getting my vote.But time and experience will show that.

Because we're all ****** at those who are *****ing and its not hard to mistake your posts for btitching because they don't say you think its fine that civ quality is slipping, you just say it is...

I agree he has some potencial, but I don't see him being the greatest contributor to the forums. He has helped people sometimes, but not enough for my tastes. Perhaps he needs more time and contributions.

I agree, my mentality is that if a canidate isn't a yes, they are a no.

Kage, the moaning is not necessarily well placed, moaning is the heart and soul of TWC. I think a bit of Curial PMS should not make us attempt to become stricter.

To be quite honest, when you were up for a vote you still had very few posts. Tomte also. Look at you now! I never expected you to be such a good contributor to the Curia, and active in areas besides TW.

My point: Try to go beyond what the civitate is doing at present, and remember that the Curia raises the awareness of some and actually greatly hightens their involvement.

It is not really necessary.

We should judge by the posts, not by the skill of appraisal in the patrons paragraph. Unlike the staff, this is our only duty - we should be able to have enough time to do a "full" background check.
