I have CS5.1 extended edition

Go to File > Save for Web and Devices, or press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S. To save press the circled button:



Then you come to the save in folder dialogue. You can save with the circled file settings:

Did it play in Photoshop? If so, then you probably saved it right, it didn't play for me until I posted it here.

I had the same problem.
In the bar where is animation timeline and measurment there is a little icon (In right corner)
Find DOCUMENT SETTINGS and reduce it to 15. Hope this helps.

I managed to get it to move now where are you uploading it? I originally tried image shack but it didn't work with that

Photobucket. Imageshack doesn't allow for animated GIFs.

For upload sites deviant art is also good you can store images away from public view (via sta.sh) good when linking to forums like this, and they don't resize your images.

Having problems with step 4 (animation). My version does not display the animation the way Narf's does. I have a "movie maker" type of display at the bottom of my window. Does anyone know what i need to do to finish step 4 with this typer of animation pannel?

SoP - I'm guessing you have CS standard instead of Extended? I'm like that - it's still possible though. I'll post some steps if that's the problem.

Great initiative Robin, If you are interested, then you can be Professor in the next one for those who use Frame By Frame Animation.

I'm not guaranteed to be able to figure out all your tricks without timeline you know I don't think I should be professor when I haven't the foggiest how you made all those gif's

Nonetheless I'll help out where I can - it seems only me and SoP have this issue thusfar anyway.

I am at work ATM and won't be home for a few hours to check but I believe you are correct. What do I need to do if this is the case?
