Hi I'm fighting the Moors in Spain and I was surprised that the Moors have such huges armies !
I have taken Leon,Burgos and Pamplona but the AI has 3 armies wit full banners.
I wonder how that is possible (I know that they have pretty good economy)

The AI get a boost in money depending on the campaign difficulty : more hard = AI more money = huge armies xP. Apart from that i believe also the ivory, salt, gold, and all the other exotic resources are generating money for them.
moors and their surrounding areas are indeed very rich compared to everyone else on the west side of the map...
I know right... the Moors literally dominated all of Spain in all three campaigns...
Edit: In one of those campaigns I am Portugal and I made the mistake of not blitzing them, and they have 3 full stacks that I see...

Uhu so I'm not the only one with this question
I have no 80% of Spain under my control except Silves and Cordoba.
I think the Moors are like rabbits they breed like hell !![]()
Imagine they control north Africa, Hispannia and France. How rich do you think they are?![]()
Kill Them All, Let God Sort Them Out!
I've never seen a game that the Moors didn't dominate Hispania. They usually can never make it past Hispania because the French check them there but they always push right up to it.
In my rus campaign, I migrate to Britain, When I check Europe, Moors siege Caen.

Yeah, If the Iberian Kingdoms Don't either Ally with each other, or have one unite the other two, the moors tend to pick them apart while they exhaust themselves killing each other.
Please rep me for my posts, not for the fact that i have a Pony as an Avatar.
In my current early era campaign as the romans(dear god they are strong) the moors are almost destroyed they only have 3 settlements left(and their capital is under siege).Portugal is the dominant faction in Iberia. If i put this with former experience from other campaigns i would have to say that moors are definitely not the superpower most people consider them to be
