So at turn 205 my wonderful, glorious, beautiful High Elven campaign is crashing to desktop when I end turn and Gondor comes up. I've retried several times, and even replayed the previous turn a couple of times, but no dice.
I have Baron Samedi's submod, so I realize there's no point in posting in the technical/bug section. I guess this means that my campaign is over.
I don't think I have ever played any campaign for 205 turns in any Total War game (Rome, M2, Empire, Napoleon, or Shogun 2), but I was loving the experience as the High Elves! I had destroyed Isengard, both Orc factions, and Mordor via destroying the One Ring. The black lands had been reclaimed by the forces of light, and were well on their way to being healed.
I was about to declare war on Harad, who had beaten Gondor down to one settlement. It was going to be crazy, because Harad was simply huge, and had dozens of full stacks roaming around, filled with many of their high tier units (I hadn't seen any Mumakil yet though). My hope was to see Gondor returned to their capital of Minas Tirith, and the darkness finally repelled from Middle Earth.
But alas....
Anyhow, I've resolved to accept the loss of the campaign. The purpose of this thread is mostly therapeutic, as I just need to "get this out" to my fellow TATW players. A moderator can feel free to lock or move this thread as they see fit.
Hmm, Skyrim now, or start a new campaign?? Somehow I don't think I'm done with TA just yet!
