    Default A fix for Byzantine general

    Just replace the general`s texture with this one(gloss maps incl).In fact Byzantines were supposed to use unique general model,but somehow theyre using genreic europian.

    Edit (by alpaca): Sorry guys, I decided to take this off. This fix will be included in the next patch - it's just too much fuss for me if people who don't know how to mod want to include this.

    You put it in chivalry/data/models_unit/textures

    Um,i dont know as i dont have the mod right now =( Find the line for the byzantium general in the "descr_model_battle.txt" and replace it with the name of fixed texture.

    It's not there. But I figure Parthia=Byzantium? Would it be sufficientif we just changed the bolded line then?

    Change the line into:
    parthia, chivalry/data/models_unit/textures/100dauphinBYZANTINE.tga

    Also tomorrow ill upload the missing rebel skins

    I think I'll take this off, it's too much fuss for very little gain (and will be included in the next patch anyways).

    I did change the descr_model_battle.txt, but now whenever I try to play as byzantines the game CTD's...

    Hmm it works for me.

    just replace MTW_general_european.TGA with 100dauphinBYZANTINE.tga

    just do a find for MTW_general
    then look for the parthia line then replace the MTW_general_european.TGA with 100dauphinBYZANTINE.tga

    Ah, just relized what was wrong. I had changed the line into 'chivalry/data/models_unit/textures/100dauphinBYZANTINE.tga' forgetting to add parthia in front(parthia, chivalry/data/models_unit/textures/100dauphinBYZANTINE.tga).
