    Default Whats fixed?

    Hi
Its been a long time since I played rtw, its bugs killed it for me.
Now that I know there's a 1.5 patch Ill give it a try again, but first, I wanted to know somethings...
Did they fix the chariot-archers bug? (the one they didnt fire while they were moving) Or do I have to fix it myself after I install the patch, if so, how? (I dont remember)
Did they fix the memory leak bug?
Do fire arrows still lag the game? (I remember that when I installed 1.3 patch it began to lag battle whenever there was fire arrows, and the game overall was more laggy)
Thanks and apologize my laziness to search the forums

I am not sure about some of those, but I do know that 1.5 does fix a lot of bugs, and after I installed it the fire arrwos didnt cause lag anymore.

1.5 fixed the fire-arow lag and I'm pretty sure the chariots archer bug is fixed.

Yes for me they lag like crazy... and the game it self is still a bit laggy.

After some hours of play, it'll crash, just like civ IV does...

I play RTW 1.5 and I don't have more or less any lag in comparison to 1.2. What counts most for me, is the much much improved AI of 1.5. Combined with DarthVaders formations, it's quite smart now and kicks ass. 1.2 is obsolete, the 1.5 features are really worth downloading it, if only for the better AI, trust me.

1.2 has the save/load bug, which messes everything up. Sieges, diplomacy...

Every time you'd load a save and end the turn, it'd kick in. You'd have to play several turns, perhaps 8 or more, in one sitting, to get anything out of the game. Each time you ended the turn you loaded into, the AI would break off sieges, etc. Meaning that it would never expand properly. Turns can get quite time-consuming, especially if you don't trust auto-managing.

I'd insist on getting 1.5 rather than sticking with 1.3 (because I need to reinstall RTW sometime, I'm stuck with 1.3 at the moment...a reinstall of the computer meant that it no longer recognises BI when I try to patch it to 1.6! grrrr).

I'm aware of this save bug u mentioned. Always thought the computer was a bit dumb... But I dont think its fair for a patch to make the game so slow, where the original ran more properly, this is unfair really, I dont care about playing with other people that have Barbarian invasion...
