    Default City Models

I'm playing as the Carthage and the city models on the campaign map for some factions are the same as those found as in RSII (sorry I don't know who made them or used them first). While for Carthage the higher level cities revert back to the vanilla, square shaped cities.

Is this correct, if not is there a way to fix this? If it is, is there a way to change this? I am really getting sick of looking at the old 'box like' cities - I love the newer, more 'organically' shaped and detailed cities

Thanks, I've found it. So what do I do to change it to Pacco and Prometheus' models? (the guys who I've now found out did the RSII city models)

The ones used in RSII I guess? (In a similar style to the current Roman city models) As long as they aren't those vanilla box cities I don't care so much I guess

Are the RS2 eastern cities none vanilla? Never liked the vanilla walls etc. Or even just the walls.

Nope for some reason the Carthagian culture in EB uses the vanilla city walls and models at stone wall and greater :/

I've ruled out an installation error - everybody's 'show your empire' screenshots seems to show the same thing.

I may edit it myself then, it wouldn't be that hard to shrink the vanilla cities and make them the right shape for the Roman city walls and edit the textures so they're that yellow colour.

I trust you have RS II installed, just copy the ones you want to the appropiate folder then use one of these. C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creative Assembly\Roma Surrectum\data\models_strat\residences2
    Code:
    culture carthaginian
    portrait_mapping eastern

Is there an easy way that doesn't involve installing RS2? It seems a little pointless when i'm not going to play it.

Problem is now that i know there's an alternative i won't be able to stop until i get it (i'm slightly obsessive about such things ), or like i did yesterday, make the vanilla cities smaller in scale but with more buildings and making the prometheus walls sandstone for the easterners It would be quicker to get RS2 versions imo...

Cheers Ferdiad, I got it working. +rep

For anyone else who tries this, don't forget to bring the textures over as well - the result is a CTD.
