Possible Issues
First I just want to say that I love this mod. I just downloaded it yesterday and it's awesome. I'm playing as the KOJ but seem to be having a problem. I'm playing H/H and none of the other nations seem to be expanding particularly aggressively. The Egyptian faction that I'm facing responded to my invasion by sending 5 different family members but no armies. Is this a glitch or will they eventually become more powerful?

Re: Possible Issues
Well never mind, a few turns later and I had to hightail it out of Egypt after a couple of expensive victories over several large Ayyubid stacks.

Why did you leave if you won?

"rapid blitzkrieging"
That's redundant. You can't have a slow blitzkrieg. Unless Canada were to try it.

Re: Possible Issues
I think Nein means early blitzkrieging. As in, doing it at the start of the game before the AI has established itself.

Re: Possible Issues
Well I won the battles but losses were high enough to force me to retreat. Plus the Byzantines were threatening some of my northern cities and I needed to strip the heavy cavalry from my southern armies to deal with them.

Re: Possible Issues
forcing the ayyubids into bridge battles (plenty of those on the nile
) is a good way to win with minimal casualties... be sure to stock up on archers and maybe some catapults to achieve the maximum effect, light horse archers are the best missile unit as they have alot of arrows
