Default Input for the Dev team

Before you read this and start getting all annoyed, i wana say its an amazing mod, really is good. but maybe people might want to just put constructive comments into one place?
    my idea for improvements are
1)maybe giving the early era units the dirty peasent treatment, putting gloss on all of them maybe just some more units to the standard of his other work, not that thier bad!

    2) boost morale more so battles last longer and less routing

    3) rtr's idea of giving cavalry massive charge bonuses but when in combat makeing them weak so that the get mashed

4)removins the "spear" from the primary attack attr, darth did it in his mod it stops spearmen from flooding/bundling foreward.

    5) fix some of the dodgy textures and model lod things, they affect england and royal bodyguards

and maybe vary units for the northern factions as england and france are identical

A medieval horseman with stirrups might have been better in melee than his ancient counterpart. However, this would apply to a slow moving cataphract, light horsemen should work as you suggest. I think giving every weak unit a morale boost might help.

Less rebels. When i was playing the Silicians it was almost impossible to get a settlement because al armies where bigger (and most of them were stronger). And lower the strength of the slavic tribesman (i dont know their exact name) because they slaughter your armies. The speirs they throw whipe out 13 man at a time and that means a hughe moral drop (against Feudal sergeants, that is).

    1. Unfortunately DP is our only active skinner at the moment and he doesn't work on early era units.

    2. We're looking into better balancing :original:

    3. Because of the nature of the RTW engine of depicting cavalry I'm not sure that's such a good idea. In reality they would spend the majority of the fight on horse back but fighting like infantry, however this can't be helped because this is the only way the RTW engine allows. I'm mainly worried about MP battles where you might forget your cav for a second then they'll be wiped out. Also I think the point that medieval cavalry can stand better against ancient infantry is a good one.

    4. What's wrong at the moment? Could you explain a little better?

    Thanks for the comments :original:

    Less rebels.
I think I'll look into this as well.

when you fight with spearmen, youl often notice that they seem to just surge foreward which is bad because they just push into the enemy formation and mainly get slaughterd. this was caused when ca introduced the spear primary attack attribute thing. if you dont believe me do a few tests with spearment against swordsmen and youl see how differently spearment go foreward. but just removing this stops it

I like the big rebel armys. It's a surprise at the beginning and makes you clean up your empire first and boost your economy before conquering territory after territory.

nanana it doesnt make them stay in a shield wall, it makes them formationwise behave like swordsmen,, and not all bundle foreward
