    Default Prussian Campaign?

    Good day gents,

I've hit a brick wall in my campaign. I'm playing as Prussia on H/H and I've been able to managed quite well until now. The main reason is that the AI started throwing 3+ armies to my 1, especially the French. Right now they have around 5-7 stacks West of the Berlin bridges and I've only got 2 defending each bridge. They seemed hell bent on throwing every stack at 1 bridge. On top of that I'm at war with almost the entire continent. Any ideas, suggested mods?

Here's an example of one of my previous fight:
As you can also notice on the background, there are 2 Spanish and 3 French armies left in the field ready to engage after already already wiped out 3 French armies.
Edit: And I've also rearranged the map of Eastern Europe, but that doesn't seem to solve my problems.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I'm afraid 2 cannon batteries per stack is a bit on the light side. Toss in an additional 2 batteries and you'll drastically reduce your own casualties in future battles. Other than that, I can't offer any help ... I suppose Hard / Hard means just that ... HARD.

You seem to be doing well. U see you have some far eastern provinces. Are they guarded and if so are you kind of spread out? Who are your allies as well?

For holding bridges i tend to have stacks of 1 general 4 light infantry 8 cannon battery's and 7 line infantry.
Even on VH/VH u can repell multiple stacks that way.
Line infantry form battle line on your side of the bridge light infantry on the flanks and cannons further out to the flanks with 2 battery's in the center.
If the enemy is attacking across a bridge some cannister shot head on will cripple any charge and if you set up the firing lines right any enemy that makes it across is caught in a crossfire of infantry while the 2 flanking battery's pound the enemy the whole time.
You can cause huge damage and route enemies before they can deploy to attack effectively.
I am the shadow, and the smoke in your eyes I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
    we shall fight in the hills;
    we shall never surrender.

    " The dark is generous.
Its first gift is concealment: our true faces lie in the dark beneath our skins, our true hearts remain shadowed deeper still. But the greatest concealment lies not in protecting our secret truths, but in hiding from the truths of others.
The dark protects us from what we dare not know.
Its second gift is comforting illusion: the ease of gentle dreams in night’s embrace, the beauty that imagination brings to what would repel in the day’s harsh light. But the greatest of its comforts is the illusion that dark is temporary: that every night brings a new day. Because it’s the day that is temporary.
    Day is the illusion.
Its third gift is the light itself: as days are defined by the nights that divide them, as stars are defined by the infinite black through which they wheel, the dark embraces the light, and brings it forth from the center of its own self.
With each victory of the light, it is the dark that wins.

The dark is generous, and it is patient.
It is the dark that seeds cruelty into justice, that drips contempt into compassion, that poisons love with grains of doubt.
The dark can be patient, because the slightest drop of rain will cause those seeds to sprout.
The rain will come, and the seeds will sprout, for the dark is the soil in which they grow, and it is the clouds above them, and it waits behind the star that gives them light.
    The dark’s patience is infinite.
    Eventually, even stars burn out.

The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.
It always wins because it is everywhere.
It is in the wood that burns in your hearth, and in the kettle on the fire; it is under your chair and under your table and under the sheets on your bed. Walk in the midday sun, and the dark is with you, attached to the soles of your feet.
The brightest light casts the darkest shadow.

The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.
Love is more than a candle.
    Love can ignite the stars."

Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end.

    You began the war.

I am going to end it!

If you can afford it, take a small stack and use your navy to land it in Rennes, liberate it, take Caen, and give that to Brittany. Give Brittany a few months and they should have a single stack and a large navy (I've realized Brittany is the only liberated country to make huge navies) and ask them to join the war. It'll ease the front on your side where you can make a push.
