Default how to convert a city (stone wall) to castle?

    Is it possible?

I tried to modify the export descr building, but no luck.

I'm not positive, but you would probably have to make convert into a building to "build" again i'll have to look at it, but that's my educated guess.

sorry for the wrong section. If a mod can move it...

Apparently, someone else has tried before, but with no luck.

    Maybe this is hardcoded?

What do you exactly want? Change a starting huge_city to a castle? Change the huge_city battle model to castle? Add a building to convert a huge_city to a castle (like in the tutorial)?

in game we can convert fortress to city, and citadel to large city.
I'd like to be able to convert, during the game, city to fortress and large city to citadel.

Not only the starting building. Late in the game, I may conquer city/large city, and I would like to convert them to castles.

I followed it, but I get a crash to desktop anytime I load the game.
I'd like to know if someone had success with it.

    I believe this is hardcoded...

I tried to delete all the

    Code:

               convert_to 1
               convert_to 2
    ... etc
that appear in the castle/city walls of the export descr building, and they still can be converted as usual.

I found out a way to make appear the building "convert to castle" among the others, in the minor city sheet, and it starts the conversion... but when the conversion should be completed, the city is still there, as it was before, and I can again select the "convert to castle" ...
