What I have to contribute to the forum is enthusiasm as this is my favorite genre of gaming and the only forum I participate in. My ethics are strong and should add to the integrity of the forums. I believe I excel in building others up,being diplomatic and I actually enjoy encouraging others as well. I am educated and detailed, so that when I give advice it will be as accurate and useful as I can possibly convey. My maturity will be evident to others as I am not quick to temper and am able to freely admit my mistakes. Finally,Antoninus, I am learning daily about computers, gaming, software, applications and the like.I don't know it all but I want too! I hope this is acceptable and to hear from you soon,
Thanks for your confidence in me,with regards

A civitate from the Total War area of the forums?!?!? I see most of them in the Vestugia Vestatutis and Themia Devia-`Pit area of the Site. Well anyways , I do truly hope this Patronship is given, he is a worthy member indeed. I find it Ironic. Hadrian made his heir Antoninus Pius in History. In TWC, Antoninus Pious patronizes Hadrian

This is clearly a techie person, at first look the majority of his posts are in the modding forums and the rest are in the basement. Pick any post of his at random and it'll honestly likely be either a compliment to a modder or reasoned response to a question... In saying that though he has only been a member for two months?

Idealy i'd wish he had been here for a bit longer before being proposed. However, i do think it's fair to say that when guests of the forum read his posts, i would essentialy be happy to see them held as an example of the standard of Civitates.. though i'm tempted to say ill abstain until it can be shown he would keep to this standard for longer than two months - though arguably the consistency of his posting is proof enough.

Also maybe i'm being too picky but, though his paragrpah certainly sounded positive, he pretty much failed to "...to explain his duties and privileges as a Civitate to his patron".. yes he can contribute to the site, but i dont think he explained what he intends to do with the rank if given to him..

When i look at Hadrians posts i see a talented modder and a generally helpfull person.I really cant criticize the time he has spend in the forums, becouse i didnt have many posts or long experience from the forums myself when i became a Civ.Only question that comes to mind is he really intrested on the aspects of being a Civitates or does he just want the badge? Generally i feel he has the potential to be a great contributor to modding community.Well, there is still couple days to observe his behaviour.

    Option 2 = No
    Option 3 = Abstain

I got the Trees FTW! as the green party, as people always things about the green party as abstain. The rest however, was far over my head.

Hadrian. Damn, I like. (Shocking, I know) He has alot of good posts. I can't see voting no on him, despite his low post base and lack of time here. I read his posts and think yes, this guy deserves and is worthy of, civitate status.

Hey, Tear down the wall culd be between him and being a civitate.... or something. It was just confusing, that's all...

He looks like a poste who, due to his helpfulness, would be an honour to the badge but might not be active in the Curia... which do we consider as more important, potential curial activity or helping the site members?

Set your own criteria or wait for input. Potential curial activity is hard to gauge in my experience. Non of my clients are particullary active in the Curia to my great regret. I basically have a host of great modders though :original:

Curial activity is scarely an issue.

It is an optional part of being a Civitate - something that no-one is required to participate in.

Something which develops over time if it will at all. I was not even remotely interested in the curia until recently about 4 months after being made a civitate. I told IMB39 after being made a civ I can't see myself being active anywhere other than the pit but lo and behold here I am.

So my point is the potential for curial activity can't really be judged

Based on his posts I vote yes.

So you would say its more important what they do out of the Curia?
In which case I vote for him to get the status.

Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

    Very much so.

Civitateship is an award for good posting and/or metirious service to the site.

Curial activity is only an option. An extra privelidge which the Civitates are free to utalize if they wish, but not compelled to.

If you thought that someone would be a very good contributor to Curial matters, then that might play a part in your decision (only part, of course) - however, lack of intrest should nenver be held against someone.
