Default Problems installing Rome Total War

Well, title says it all.I installed/uninstalled RTW about 8 times by now.But a mounth ago i deleted the game without uninstalling so today, when i wanted to install the game,i couldn't uninstall it.So i deleted the registery files, but now, when i want to install i have another problem. When i should read the license, the window containing it was empty (no letter,no nothing).I proceeded and the minimum requirements window was empty too.I installed the game after that. When i try to run the game,it says that mss32.dll was missing.i downloaded mss32.dll from a link posted on !THIS SITE! and copied it in the install folder, but now it gives another error.Failed to initialize 3D sound...

Please help me! I need the game!

P.S: Sorry for any grammar/spelling mistake...

Where are you trying to install from (download/CD-ROM/DVD-ROM). Is it an official copy of R:TW?

Install the Dirext X drivers also, i think the installer prompts us to do it just like Medieval 2, i forgot if it's still the same for RTW. But looks like a poor install tbh, does the disk has some scratches or stuff? Some of the data on it could be corrupted.

Is this Pirated? Only games that are pirated have errors or its just your computer doesn't have the minimum specs. If you bought it go back there and replace it. Or if its the 3D Sound that's broken, I recommend looking here...http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=108836
    Hope that helps!

No,the DvD is in great shape,no scratches or anything else.

I don't know if i explained well enough. In the install folder there wasn't mss32.dll at all.

The game's copy protection does not like ISOs. You need a legit copy for this.
