    Default CTD when killing Isengards Chief

    The first time this happended I just thought it was unlucky but now it's the third time i killed the chief of isengard in battle and after returning to the worldmap, i got a ctd. It never happended in any other situation, so i'm pretty sure this is the reason for the crashes. All three times it has been the same general (Yagthak), so I don't know whether it's because this general or because the chief of Isengard died. As well, Saruman was killed by Rohan (not me) before without causing any troubles.

    I've got a similar problem in my Eriador campaign: Isengard was reduced to two settlements and Saruman as their last general. He kept standing outside Talsir after I took it, just him without an army. But everytime I killed him and had chosen to release/execute the prisoners (so basically right before the "faction destroyed" notification comes), I got a CTD.

    Haven't thought about that but think it fits on my campaign as well. There is a pretty good chance Yagthak is their last general left.

    I had to put a Dale campaign on hold because when Rohan took Isengard (last settlement, with Saruman inside), I got a CTD. I'm playing 1.4.

    I have the same problem when Killing Lurtz or capturing Talsir :/

    hmm... this is really one of the most troubling problems currently.
    However, it seems that the destruction of Isengard (via killing all their "family members") in general is causing these crashes.

    @Candamirson, kraxmause, Diadochiwelike
    Have you started a campaign AFTER you have installed the 3.1 Patch or have your campaigns been started before the 3.1 Patch?
    If anyone is sure that the campaign was started after the patch and if you still have the save-game before the crash happened, could you please upload it somewhere?
    Would be much appreciated.

    I think I started it after Baron's Submod 4.0 + Hotfix had come out for 3.1, I'll try to upload the savegame.

    Edit: Sorry, the savegame's broken after installing Baron's Submod 5.0. Maybe one of the other guys can help.

    OK, now I've got the same problem in my freshly started High Elves campaign (Baron's Submod 5.0 + Bugfixer). Saruman seems to be the last "family member" of Isengard, if he gets killed in Argond the game crashes. Have fun :

    Edit: I did however manage to take Isengard's last city in my last Rohan campaign (B.S. 4.0), but I had the "go horde" submod activated, so Isengard wasn't defeated.

    Is there a texture assigned for the slave faction for the isengard captains/generals? This can cause crashes when the generals/captains are transfered to the rebels.

    EDIT: NVM, they are assigned

    @King Kong: I've first encountered it while playing 3.0 without any submods. I installed Baron samedi's V4.0 and It still crashed even if I started a new game. I installed 3.1 and V5.0 from baron's. It still occured.
    I can send you a save game because I have the one i'm stuck on because of the crashes.

    So I'm running TATW 3.1 and have installed Baron Samedi's Mod Compilation V5.0
    Playing as Rohan.

    I am confronted with these two crashes.
    When trying to occupy Talsir ( Isengard) with Rohan I get a crash.
    Also when attacking Lurtz while playing Rohan gives me a crash.

    Okidoki,

    So I couldn't find the save game.
    I apparently overwrote it.
    The savegame I do have is a game with Rohan I started a couple of minutes ago do demonstrate the crash. If I attack Lurtz and the battle is finished loading it CTD's.
    I can upload the savegame if u like, but it .sav is a invalid filetype.
    Suggestions since I'm kinda noob at this?.

    The circumstances: Installed 3.1 Patch and submod Baron Samedi Compilation V5.0.

    Okidoki so indeed the problem isnt Talsir
    It appears I killed all generals of Isengard
    So King Kong is right about the CTD when all Isengard Generals are killed.
    I found another crash though!

    I've attached the savegame where the CTD appears.
    Just attack Lurtz and play the battle.
    It should cause the CTD to appear.
    It has V5.0 from baron samedi's Mod compilation installed and patch 3.1.

    Hi, everyone!

    Please try to load your save games in clean TATW 3.1
    I had many crashes in my games with Baron's script (when Isengard or other in question) and NEVER in clean TATW 3.1, so I could swear it's not vanilla problem.

    Bugs with submods should be reported in the thread of the particular submod

    Edit: I'm also pretty sure there is no lurtz in vanilla

    unfortunately these are not the answers I have hoped for, since, as killersmurf pointed out, the bugs forum is only for a vanilla TATW installation.

    And honestly, I'm also slightly annoyed, because once again I have lost several hours of my life to search for bugs that are (probably) not existant in a clean TATW and just becasue the people don't even say at first that they use submods. Such things make bugfixing not really easier...
