Rome Patch v1.3 ruins game upon installing

After a very long time away from rome total war i have recently decided to replay it due to popular demand. however upon installing it i soon realized why i had stopped playing in the first place. numerous technical glitches.

When i install the game fresh out of the box, no mods or patches, (v1.0) the game works fine and seamlessly, everything runs smoothly

I want to go to version 1.5, and i must install 1.3 first However upon installing version 1.3, the game is immediately screwed and refuses to start up, and when i do instead of the game im greeted with this message

FAILURE TO FIND/LOCATE DATA/ANIMATIONS/SG 01 IDLE 01.CAS,

I do not know what this string of words mean or how to go about dealing with it, as patches are usually supposed to improve the game, not ruin it. one possibility could be a corrupted downloaded patch or something in which case can i have the link to the OFFICIAL, patch, thanks in advance

Thanks, However i must ask of your assistance one last time. Sometimes upon installing patch 1.3, trying the first two, i get this error and i really dont know what in the name of flying crap it is supposed to mean, please help me out here, thanks..

It's machine language of = a bad install of which can be a bad download. The only cure is a fresh install.

Delete all the 1.3 download copies from your computer and download a fresh one with no multitasking even if you have to watch tv for a few minutes. Your internet maybe having a mind of its own.

Thanks, It worked, i reinstalled it with no background tasks or multitasking and after tireless searching for a correct download of v1.3 it works fine, i even managed to patch up to 1.5 as well.
