    If it is only one (battle) texture then simply giving the attribute 'mercenary_unit' and adjusting the modeldb and info folders will do.
    I would assume the strat texture will default to the bribing faction, as would the model if it doesn't exist for that faction - but that would need testing.

    Did i forgot something? I delete Saxon King in modeldb file, and delete ''general unit'' in EDU file and put ''northern general'' as a general unit in modeldb. and nothing. There is ''dragon flag'' too!

    I think it's related to a file called descr_character.txt. Try to change the battle model here:

    The 'dragon flag' is the royal banner assigned to the faction in descr_banners_new

    I must add Serbian knights and horse to saxons, that i see, but general is still saxon_king, now ''dressed'' in Russian .TGA!
    What i'm missing?

    and that's not all. game works only with fresh new start, when reload last saved game it CDT. looks like model.db error but how start new game but no reload?

    maybe is bad lod0.mesh file, i don't know how to check that. maybe i'll just change model and move on with my mod. i like this model but...

    I am not sure what you have done so far to add a new faction, but have a look at my tutorial what all is needed - it's a lot of stuff.

    The EDU and battlemodel entries appear to be correct, the error will most likely be somewhere else.

    Thank you Gigantus, i am successful but in second mod Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod with Serbia. And whether can that put hero_abilities Captain or General forever? i know put General hero_abilities but when he dead no more nobody.
