Battle Crash

Used to have this problem with past versions on and off but now it has become a lot worse.
I have UAC disabled, I've tried reinstalling, I've Run as Admin and I've tried most the solutions in the stickied thread at the top of this forum. Basically, everytime I start a battle in the campaign it'll crash in the loading screen and give me an "Unspecified Error". I can play most custom battles, just can't load up campaign battles.

I'm running a -

Windows 7 32-bit
4gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce 450 Series
DirectX 11

Any help would be much appreciated as this is really starting to bug me.

I have nearly the same problem: Every battle I want to fight (in custom battle or in the campaign) lead to an unspecified error right after the loading screen is completed. I can see the untextured battlefield for a second and then it crashes...
Hope someone can help.

I'm having the same problem. Curiously, I originally installed TATW over the Kingdoms 1.4 (not patched) by accident and it actually ran fine without any CTDs. Once I realized my mistake I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled using Kingdoms 1.5. Now it seems to crash anytime I tried assaulting a besieged settlement.

Same Problem, sometimes. It`s really weird and only if i use more than 5 units or so in my army- In Previous versions i never encountered that.

I uninstalled the CD version and reinstalled the Steam version. Perfectly stable now, no crashes 25 turns into the campaign. The investigation I've done points to incompatibilities between the Gold/Non Gold/EU/US patches. So I'd recommend installing the Steam version if you have that, as well as using the workaround for the launcher that doesn't close correctly.
