Can't open developer's console.

As the title says. I have a Macbook Pro and was able to open the DC on my older one, but now I can't. I press the ` button but nothing happens. Not sure what it is. If anyone has any suggestions for what the problem is I'd welcome them to share. My friend and I were planning on custom-creating using cheats our own generals and duking it out, so I'd like to get this to work.

You have to go to options then I think keyboard or advanced options and enable the console. Then pressing ' should open console.

I don't have the key with the umlaut over the o, although I can create an umlaut by some combination of keys. I'll try the @ key, which on my keyboard is the 2 key. Though I don't know if I have to press shift or not.

For me its the @ key.

It's the '@' key for me, on a UK keyboard. Just press it, no 'shift' button needed.

If that doesn't work, try the one between 'Escape' and 'Tab', which was the RTW one for me.
