Can't Alt+Tab?

Hey, I just bought Rome: Total War - Complete on Steam and and have found that when I have tried to Alt+Tab out my game becomes unresponsive, my windows mouse icon is shown over the game (rather than the in game one) and I can't even get to my task manager due to it not allowing Alt+Tab's

Any suggestions or fixes?

And just to troll me, the game is working perfectly fine now and the alt+tabbing issue is resolved -_-

Funny and wierd things do happen with computers. Glad to hear it's resolved. Enjoy playing.

I had a similar problem (but not on steam though). In my case the problem was solved by running RTW in Window mode.
Chaning the executable in my RTW-shortcut on my desktop to "RomeTW.exe -ne". Works perfectly now.
